Prologue
The "Podcast Advertising" Hoax
The people who tell you "there's no money in podcast advertising" are lying to you.
But...
Not all "podcast advertising" is equal.
The smart (and rich) podcasters build an audience then work directly with related sponsors who are a fit for their listeners. Very few get that "perfect match" by waiting until sponsors approach them – they approach sponsors first.
If you're interested in sending out a few emails and making calls to potential sponsors, you're going to love this issue. I have a couple of resources that tell you who is already spending money on sponsorships and where they're spending it. This will give you everything you need to know to reach out to potential sponsors with a "perfect offer" for them to take advantage of.
If you're serious about going big with your podcast advertising, you want to do two things:
Definitely check out the hosting option below, that allows you to insert dynamic ads into episodes. This will let you maximize the ads you sell and make sure you are paid for every download, not just the number of downloads within a limited time period.
If you don't already have a newsletter for your podcast, start one today. See the "newsletter issue" if you need to review how to easily do this.
I hope you're finishing out a great week and staying healthy!
Podcaster Opportunities

Find Podcast Sponsors Here
Looking for sponsors? This keeps tabs on who's spending money to sponsor newsletters.
People don't sponsor content because they like a certain medium, they sponsor content because they want results.
If a company is sponsoring a newsletter on a certain topic, there's a good chance that company will also be open to sponsoring a podcast on that topic.
Why wouldn't somebody sponsor a podcast? Because most companies don't know how podcasts work – they have no idea even how to produce an ad.
This is where you come in.
Newsletters are easy – anybody can write up a few lines of text and share a link. Podcasting is easy too, if you know how to do it.
And you do. Show people who are already sponsoring newsletters how easy it is to sponsor podcasts and you'll find a ton of money there.
So check out who is spending money on ads and let them know you can get them results via podcasting. That's the opportunity.

A Good Way to Connect with Podcast Sponsors
Here's another "sneaky" way to connect with sponsors who are already spending money in your niche...
It's for newsletter writers, so for best results, read my issue on how to start a newsletter for your podcast and offer sponsorship deals that include both newsletters and podcast ads.
Podcasting Deals

bCast - Lifetime Podcast Hosting w/ Dynamic Ads >> Only $79
This is a deal for two reasons:
- Pay once and that's it – you get podcast hosting for life.
- You can insert dynamic ads into your podcast episodes, meaning you can sell, then resell your most popular content and make the most money from it.
If you're serious about making money via podcast advertising, definitely take a look at dynamic ads.
Podcast Monetization

Who is spending money on sponsorship? This site will let you know...
Here's another way to keep tabs on who is spending money on sponsorship, so you'll be able to reach out to them and get them to spend some of that money with you.
How it works... According to the site, "We track who sponsors newsletters — and deliver the data straight to your inbox."
Don't have a newsletter for your podcast? I recommend starting one as a "newsletter and podcast" sponsorship package is not only easier to sell than just a podcast option, you can get more money for it. Read my issue on how to start a newsletter for your podcast if you need help.
